MP inspects Gomati Dist Hospitals

In an attempt to improve healthcare services, MP Rebati Tripura handed over Ambulances to Gomati District Hospital as well as inspected the facilities in the Hospital on Wednesday. He also gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials for better healthcare services.

The MP handed over four Ambulances to the Hospital to use those for in health care centers.

Later, Rebati Tripura tweeted, “A total of 4 Ambulances have been provided to Gomati District Hospital to use in various healthcare centres. Hon’ble MLA Shri @rampada_jamatiaji and DM & Collector of Gomati District Sri Raval H Kumar ji were also present.”

During the inspection, the MP interacted with the patients as well as checked the facilities available in the Hospital.

In a tweet, Rebati Tripura wrote, “On my Visit to Gomati District Hospital, performed an inspection and urged DM and CMO to look after the facilities including regular supply of medicines, proper maintenance of toilets and so on.”

The MP also attended a District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting of Gomati District at Gomati Zila Parishad Conference Hall. Among other dignitaries and officials,. MLA Rampada Jamatia and the Sabhadipati were present.

Central health official visits state 

 

Dr. Sumita Ghosh, Additional Commissioner of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Child Health) visited Tripura to review the works being implemented under the Emergency Covid Response Project (Phase-II), an official from state health department said on Wednesday.

As part of her three-day visit, the central official inspected several healthcare facilities in West Tripura and Gomati district, said Dr. Abhijit Das, State Nodal Officer for ECRP-II.

According to Das, the works including setting up of a Paediatric Care Unit in IGM hospital and a Paediatric Centre of Excellence in GBP hospital, the prime government healthcare facility of the state, are almost nearing completion.

The health official expressed her satisfaction over works being implemented at IGM and GBP hospitals and also prescribed some suggestions for better utility of the new facilities, he said.

Dr. Ghosh, who arrived in the state on Sunday evening, also held a meeting with the Principal Secretary (Health) and discussed various important matters.
