PMAY-G : Pucca houses to over 20000 families in Khowai, Jampuijala
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Grameen (PMAY-G), 16606 families will get pucca houses in the current financial year in Khowai.
Out of the total 16,606 houses, 2238 families of Kalyanpur block, 3662 in Khowai block, 1106 beneficiaries of Mungiyakami , 3009 families of Padmabil block, 3666 families of Teliamura and 2872 families of Tulashikhar block will get the pucca houses under the PMAY-G.
For the construction of each house, Rs 1.30 lakh will be spent.
Besides, in the current financial year under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Grameen (PMAY-G), Pucca houses will be provided to 4088 beneficiary families of Jampuijala block spending Rs 1.30 lakh on building each house. The beneficiaries will be given financial assistance for this purpose in three instalments. The instalments will be deposited in beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries have received Rs 48000 as their first instalment in their accounts. This was informed by Jampuijala block office.
Agri assistance: Solar pump sets distributed
Under Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA), the process of installing solar pump sets in Unakoti district for agricultural work is almost complete. Recently, installation of 7 pump sets has been completed. Boring of soil for installing 18 pump sets has finished.
Installation of 17 moresubmersible solar pump sets of 2 HP capacity is almost complete. Installation of 3 surface solar pump sets of 1 HP capacity is complete. Permission has been granted to install 9 more submersible solar pump sets of 2 HP capacity in the district.
It has been mentioned, farmers will submit Rs 2500 for 1 HP capacity and Rs 5000 for 2 HP capacity as their share. This was informed by Trader Project Officer, Unakoti district Daniel Tripura.
