CM flags off TRTC buses, opens websites, logos
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb flagged off two Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC) buses from Agartala to Khowai and Agartala to Sabroom on Friday.
He also launched Tripura Road Transport Corporation & Tripura Urban Transport Company Ltd. Websites and their logos.
Tourism Minister of Tripura, Pranajit Singha Roy and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister tweeted, “Along with having an option to book their tickets online passengers can also pay for their tickets via the PhonePe app.
This is the first time that such an innovative idea has been implemented in the state. Our policies are in line with the clarion call of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji of making a #DigitalIndia”.
Self-reliance and Agri-market
During his Karbook visit on Friday, the Chief Minister met a young entreprenur. Taking to twitter, Deb wrote, “It was a pleasure meeting with Rajib Debbarma Ji, the owner of Chaham Nok, Restaurant and fast food centre, karbook today. Glad to know that he is inspired by the Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s clarion call of #Atmanirbharta and has opened an eatery in Karbook”.
“He further wrote, Rajib Debbarma’s “daily sell is Rs 7,000 and he has given employement to three people. Young entrepreneurs like Rajib Debbarma Ji are an inspiration to the society.”
In a separate tweet, MP Rebati Tripura wrote on Friday, “Inspired by the Self-Reliant India Slogan of Adarniya PM Shri @narendramodi ji, unemployed youth opens Chaham Nok, a coffee shop in Karbuk. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb Ji and I had coffee together after the inauguration.”
The Chief Minister inaugurated a 30 Unit Agriculture market stall at Karbook on Friday.
“I am sure, farmers will be able to sell their produce to a larger consumer population through this market which will further increase their income”, Deb tweeted.
Besides, Deb also inaugurated a Newly Constructed SDM Office Building at Karbook today.
Training on Food safety
In a Facebook post, CMO West with NHM Tripura wrote, “FoSTaC training on Food safety has been started for Street Food Vendors under West Tripura district in presence of DM & Collector, west, Dy FSC, District Health Officer, west.
Total 1000 street food vendors will get this training free of cost under FSSAI Initiatives for Safe food for all”.
