Tripura Government is working sincerely to meet the expectations and interests of ASHA workers and facilitator sisters, said Rajya Sabha MP from Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb and hoped that some good news for them is waiting.
He was addressing a meeting of the All Tripura ASHA Facilitators Association and Asha Karmi Sangha in Agartala on Saturday (December 31). The event was held at the Agartala Town Hall with the initiative of the Vivekananda Vichar Manch today.
Deb said, “The works and roles of the ASHA workers and facilitators in building the future of the next generation and serving the society in the spirit of responsibility is commendable. The State Government is contemplating the issues of the ASHA workers and facilitators with due sincerity. I am hopeful that something good will come out soon”.
On the last day of 2022, his statement renewed hopes among the ASHA workers who came in numbers to attend the meeting today.
Deb while saluting the services of the ASHA workers and Facilitators, called them as the Matri Shakti who are the real future maker of new generations.
The Rajya Sabha MP said, “Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has done unprecedented work for women empowerment in the last 8 years. And, presence of the sisters-mothers in today’s meeting in large number reflects the confidence of women in Modiji has increased and the mother power of Tripura of Modi ji Together with”.
In this connection Biplab Kumar Deb referred to the initiatives of the State and Central governments taken for empowering women on every sector of the society. He referred to Tripura Government’s decision to reserve 33 per cent for women in government jobs. Deb also said people of the State are very happy with the 12% increase in DA of government employees by the state government under the leadership of Prime Minister.
