In a recent development, several new chairpersons have been appointed to key positions in various corporations in Tripura. These appointments were announced on Monday and are expected to bring fresh leadership to these organizations.
The Tripura Commission for Women welcomes its new leader, Jharna Debbarma, who has taken on the role of Chairperson. Additionally, Nabendu Bhattacharjee has been appointed as the Chairman of the General Body of the Society for the Management of Cultural Complex under the Information and Cultural Affairs department.

- Balai Goswami – Chairman of TRTC
- M.K. Nath – Chairman of OBC Welfare Corporation
- Tapas Majumder – Chairman of State OBC Commission
- Moboswar Ali – Chairman of Waqf Board
- Jashim Uddin – Chairman of Minorities Welfare Corporation
- Sambhulal Chakma – Chairman of Tripura Small Industries Corporation
- Rampada Jamatia – Chairman of Tribal Welfare Corporation
Furthermore, Sukanta Ghosh has been appointed as the Secretary of Tripura Sports Council.
