Agartala, August 2: Phulo Jhanu AC began their campaign in the Baikuntha Nath Memorial Women’s Football League with a statement victory. The Kailashahar-based side outclassed debutants Dear Club 7-0 in the opening match of the tournament at the Umakanta Mini Stadium.

The Tripura Football Association organised the opening fixture under floodlights. The contest marked the official start of one of the state’s premier women’s football competitions.

Mousumi Orang Shines with Hat-Trick

Mousumi Orang emerged as the standout performer by scoring three goals. She completed an impressive hat-trick with composed finishing and intelligent movement inside the penalty area.
