Tripura pays homage to CRPF brave-hearts martyred in Pulwama attack

Along with the entire nation, Tripura paid rich tributes to 40 CRPF troopers killed in a dastardly terror suicide attack in the Lethpora area of Pulwama district on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on this day in 2019.

Remembering and saluting the martyrs of Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and others also paid homage today to the CRPF martyrs.

 

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb saluted the CRPF martyrs at Pulwama. In a tweet, Deb wrote, “Remembering the brave-hearts who martyred in the cowardly Pulwama terror attack 2019. The supreme sacrifice of our brave Jawans will always be remembered and will inspire many to devote their lives to the service of nation. Shat Shat Naman!”

Meantime, troopers of CRPF 124 battalion at Shalbagan near Agartala paid homage to the slain CRPF jawans today.

 

Commandant of the Battalion Mukesh Tyagi at Shalbagan led the others and jawans in paying tributes to the martyrs.

 

The soldiers including the Commandant of the battalion paid homage to the martyred CRPF jawans and laid wreaths.

 

CRPF, across the country, pays tribute to the Pulwama martyrs on 14 February.

 

Let the country be one. Let the countrymen remember these martyrs forever. Let all those soldiers who have left their families while protecting the motherland and those who have been martyred be remembered, Mukesh Tyagi said.

 

CRPF personnel recalled the brave jawans of CRPF who upheld the sovereignty of the country by making supreme sacrifice during the cowardly terrorist attack.

 

Members of an NGO, namely Sanjivani also offered tributes to the 40 CRPF brave-hearts.
