Assam polls: Executive meeting of BJP, AGP to be held

In Assam, the BJP and Asom Gana Parishad’s crucial Executive meeting will be held in Guwahati today separately. Both the meetings bear importance in the wake of probable alliance ahead of Assembly elections in Assam. News sources report, while no formal announcement has been made by any of the parties as of now on alliance, a few district committees of both the parties have already raised objection on probable alliance. On the other hand, the Congress has already announced to fight alone in the 126 assembly seats. AIUDF announced to fight in 60 seats.
