Cong promises job to one member of each family in Assam

In Assam, the ruling Congress has promised to provide job avenues to at least one member of each family if the party come to power again. Releasing the party manifesto along with state Party President Anjan Dutta, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi also promised to provide 50 percent women reservation in government jobs. Congress also promised to provide employment opportunities to 10 lakh unemployed youths in the next five years. The manifesto announced to provide housing to homeless and land to landless people. Giving stress of skill development, the party has announced to set up a skill development centre in each block.
