Two-day long State level Wah Utsav has started from today at Kulai in Dhalai District, Tripura. The Chief Minister of the State, Manik Sarkar inaugurated the Utsav. Speaking on this occaassion, Sarkar said religion is a personal matter, however, utsav belongs to all. Several such utsav are being organized in State highlight vastness of State’s cultural diversity, he said and added people belonging all the 19 tribal communities of the State have assembled here to enjoy the utsav.
Notably, Wah Utsav is a major programme of Mog community. Prior to inauguration, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized and 60 people including women donated blood. Apart from various cultural programmes and sports events, Seminar on culture and tradion of Mog community will be held in the two-day Utsav.
