People of Teliamura had a memorable Diwali as the Sector Headquarter (SHQ) of BSF Teliamura organized Diwali Fest on Oct 29, 2016 in which 14 Battalion and 48 Battalion organized cultural activities as well as set up various attractive stalls. Especially visitors in the fest enjoyed various type of foods at different stalls set up by Jawans and civilians of nearby area. Cultural performances were prime attraction of the Fest.
Deputy Inspector General, SHQ BSF, Teliamura Rajeev Sinha inaugurated the Fest. He was accompanied by Commandant 14 BN BSF Sindhu Kumar and Second-in-command of 48 BN, GL Chhangte. Rajeev Sinha extended his hearty wishes to the Jawans and their families as well as local people on the occasion of Diwali.
