Admission process at the English-medium Tripura Sports School and Panisagar Sports School will begin on April 28 and May 2 respectively.
Agartala April 27: The admission process for Class IV at the English-medium Tripura Sports School in Agartala (Badharghat), for the 2025-26 academic year commences on Monday.
Selected athletes from five districts will participate in this state-level admission process, scheduled from April 28 to 30.
A total of 190 athletes from South, Gomati, Sepahijala, West, and Khowai districts will showcase their skills.
West District has the highest representation, with 36 boys and 25 girls competing to demonstrate their abilities.
However, only those who make the final merit list will secure admission. This year marks the introduction of an English-medium curriculum.
To ensure a smooth and organized process, a 40-member committee, led by the school’s principal and Organizing secretary, Dr. Bharati Nigam, has been formed.

By Monday, 12 p.m., candidates must report to the school premises with original and photocopied documents, including their family’s ration card, Aadhaar card, birth certificate, mark sheet, bank passbook, two recent passport-sized photographs, and blood group details.
Admission will be granted based on motor ability and academic tests.

Similarly, the admission process at the Panisagar Sports School will begin on May 2 and continue until May 4, involving athletes from Dhalai, Unakoti, and North districts.
Parents have been instructed to ensure their children attend in sports attire and be physically present at the respective schools on time with all required documents.
