Apollo Hospital top brass discussed about setting up Super Specialty Hospital with Tripura CM. It will include Cardiology, Neurology & Nephrology facilities

Agartala, December 02, 2019: Healthcare giant Apollo Hospital is keen to set up a Super Specialty hospital in Agartala with facilities of Neurology, Cardiology and Nephrology. The assurance has come following a meeting between Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Apollo top brass including its president V.S. Reddy today in Agartala.
Commenting on the meeting, Deb said, “Had a productive meeting with Mr. V. Satyanarayana Reddy, President-New Initiatives, Apollo Hospitals.
During our talk discussed on their proposal of setting up a Multi Specialty Hospital in Agartala which will mainly include Cardiology, Neurology & Nephrology facilities.
Healthcare infrastructure of State will be reliable once Apollo group set up their hospital here.
Patients will not require to visit other states for quality healthcare services, also it will generate revenue and employment for our State.”
The Apollo authorities on principal agreed to start the hospital in the state so that the patients who have to go outside may get best health care facility within the state.
During his visit the Apollo officials have also inspected the new building of IGM hospital and expressed satisfaction over the existing infrastructures.
“IGM hospital can’t be called a government hospital. It absolutely looks like semi-private hospital. The place, construction and infrastructures are excellent. We are happy to see such a building in Agartala,” Reddy has told media.
Apollo is already running a hospital in Guwahati.
