April 22, 2018: BJP’s Prabhari of Assam Fanindranath Sharma has been assigned additional charge of Tripura. The announcement was made in the meeting of Pradesh BJP’s executive body in Agartala today. The meeting – chaired by All India BJP general secretary Ram Madhav – focused on strategies to strengthen the organizational base of the Party. BJP’s organization minister for northeast region Ajay Jamwal also attended the meeting.
In the meeting Prishtha Pramukhs (PPs) were assigned the highest priority for strengthening organizational capacity. According to sources, Ram Madhav said that performances and roles of PPs would be reviewed and if PPs fail to deliver, they would be removed. Besides, five Karyakartas at every booth will work to identify local problems and send report to concerned persons for addressing the issues.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister who is also BJP’s State president reportedly highlighted several issues and asked the Karyakartas to prepare 100-day plan to reach the people. Deb said a clean and transparent mechanism would be prepared to identify real beneficiaries of government schemes.
Saying that BJP will win both of the Parliamentary seats in Tripura, Deb said, the percentage victory margin will be a national record.
In a message to booth committees, Biplab Deb focused on involving Jana Sangh and Old BJP activists all along and taking suggestions from them on various activities and issues.
The Party expressed satisfaction over new Government’s activities and performance during its just ‘more than a month’ stint in power.
