ProMASS, Oct 31, 2016: A joint band display of BSF and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) was organized at ICP, Agartala-Akhaura Check Post today (Oct 31, 2016). The objective of the programme was to strengthen good relationship, peace and tranquility along Indo-Bangla border areas between the Border Guarding Forces of two friendly nations.
Apart from joint band display, cultural programmes were also organized. According a press release by BSF, Brijesh Kumar, Commandant, Offg Sector Commander BSF Gokulnagar, Tripura and Gazi Md Ahsanuzzaman, Deputy Director General, Sector Commander, BGB, Comilla, Bangladesh witnessed the programme along with many other BSF and BGB officials, their families and border population of both the sides.
