Dharmanagar (Tripura), June 24: A wave of jubilation has swept across Tripura as Ujjwal Kar, a promising young powerlifter from Dharmanagar, clinched a bronze medal at the prestigious National Sub-Junior Powerlifting Championship.

This historic achievement, secured in Davanagere, Karnataka, marks a significant milestone for the state, firmly placing Tripura on the national powerlifting map.

In his national debut for Tripura, Ujjwal, competing in the highly competitive 74 kg weight category, showcased an extraordinary blend of strength and rock-solid determination.
