Tripura Grameen Bank is working for the socio-economic development of the State, said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varman

Agartala, December 22, 2019: Tripura Grameen Bank playing a crucial role in developing the State, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said this today while attending a programme of the Bank.
Tripura Grameen Bank organized a blood donation camp to commemorate its 44th foundation day today in Agartala. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varman inaugurated the camp. Among others, Chairman of the Bank, Mahendra Mohan Goswami, General Manager Mani Prasad Hazra and General Manager of NABARD, Sunil Kumar were present in the programme.
Total 71 persons voluntarily donated blood out which 17 were women. Meanwhile, Bank sources said, a mega Loan distribution programme will be held on December 27 next at Muktadhara in Agartala.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister hailed the role of the bank. He said, “Tripura Grameen Bank is working for the socio-economic development of the State. The Bank is has highlighted its social commitment and accountability by organizing such blood bank”. Dev Varman exuded hope that Grameen bank will continue to thrive.
In his speech, Goswami highlighted overall performance of the Bank and lauded co-operation of all the customers.
