The grand culmination of Dharmanagar’s subdivision-based Van Mahotsav on Wednesday resonated with the message of environmental responsibility.
Sabhadhipati of Zilla Parishad Bhabatosh Das inaugurated the ceremony, joined by a distinguished panel including MLA Jadab Lal Debnath, District Police Superintendent Bhanupada Chakraborty, District Forest Officer Suman Malla, and Chairman of Dharmanagar Municipal Council Prodyut Dey Sarkar. Students from various schools and forest department officials actively participated, lending a vibrant energy to the event.
The program commenced with a symbolic tree planting session at the BBBI School grounds. Guest speakers eloquently addressed the gathering, emphasizing the crucial role trees play in human life.
