Four National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from Tripura will be attending the prestigious Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort in Delhi as the special guests.
The four NSS volunteers are : Anupam Das and Monika Debnath from Ram Thakur Mahavidyalaya, along with Somraj Laskar and Ankita Debbarma from the Open NSS Unit and they have been selected as special guests for the main event on August 15.
It is, indeed, a notable achievement for the state, as nearly 400 NSS volunteers from across the country have been chosen for this honor. The inclusion of four volunteers from Tripura will surely bolster the dedication and confidence of the NSS volunteers of the State, opined Ram Thakur Mahavidyalaya sources.
The news of inclusion of four State NSS volunteers has been met with immense joy and pride among the NSS fraternity in the state. Officials and fellow volunteers have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the selected students, wishing them a memorable experience.
