The successful implementation of initiatives of the Tripura government in harnessing the infrastructure of the GB Hospital and in providing health care services for several critical diseases like the state-of-the-art multi specialty Hospitals is reflecting good results, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday.
Deb while visiting the GB Hospital today interacted with the patients and their relatives to acquire ground level feedback.
He said, “I have experienced the ever growing confidence of people on the health care services provided by the GB Hospital and people are overcoming the trend of availing costly treatment in private hospitals outside the State and relying on the services rendered by GB Hospital”.
Deb referred to his interactions with the relatives of patients admitted under Paediatric department and said, I talked with the patient parties about the quality of services provided in hospital as well as the canteen facility – they informed me about improved confidence and satisfaction with current medical services in the hospital.
The State government is working relentlessly stressing priority to ensure health for all citizens through decentralizing the system across the State with all-facility-inclusive health care services.
The Chief Minister also visited veteran Minister NC Debbarma and the ailing wife of former Chief Minister late Sudhir Ranjan Majumder at the GB Hospital.
Revenue Minister and BJP’s ally IPFT’s supremo NC Debbarma sustained head injuries after he fell down. Debbarma who was earlier released from the Hospital was rushed back to hospital. Deb inquired about his health condition.
Deb also met Milan Prabha Majumder, the wife of ex-Chief Minister late Sudhir Ranjan Majumder who is undergoing treatment at the GB Hospital and also checked out her physical condition.
