Newest Airline - Akasa Airlines - lands in Agartala Airport, likely to start Operation soon

enewstime-Akasa-airlines-AgartalaA brand-new Boeing 737 Max Aircraft of Akasa Airlines – the newest airline touched down gorgious MBB Agartala Airport on Friday (July 22) carrying a three member team from the airlines.

 

The team visited the airport as part of the feasibility study for introducing flights.

 

In a tweet, MBB Airport Agartala revealed this on Friday (July 22). According the tweet, the Rakesh Jhunjhunwala promoted Akasa Airlines is mulling over starting flight services from Agartala to Guwahati/Bengaluru sector. If things go as planned, the newest Airline is likely to start its operation either from the last week of August or first week of September 2022.

 

Akasa Airlines was granted the Air Operator Certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation recently – in July 2022.

 

“We are pleased to announce the receipt of our Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This is a significant milestone, enabling us to open our flights for sale and leading to the start of commercial operations”, Akasa Airlines wrote in a tweet.

 

At present, the airlines is gearing up to start its operation with flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on August 7, Zee 24 Kalak tweeted. It will start with brand-new Boeing 737 Max Aircraft. The airlines will expand its area of operation in a phased manner.

 

According to the aviation sector experts, Akasa Airlines may be become a challenger to IndiGo which is practically much ahead of other existing airlines in terms of fund and area of operation.   

 

In one of several tweets, the airlines wrote, “We’re bringing you closer to Your Sky, starting with these destinations! Book now at http://akasaair.com or download our app on Play Store”.

 

Meanwhile, the airlines is in hiring mood and it already unveiled dresses of the crews in Twitter with #AkasaCrewLook.
