Chief Minister of Tripura Prof. Dr. Manik Saha emphasized the significant role of Panchayat representatives in ensuring the effective distribution of government benefits to the citizens.
Speaking at a training camp organized by the Pradesh Training Department of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Udaipur under Gomati District of Tripura, Dr. Saha underlined the crucial position Panchayat members hold as the face of the Government in extending the benefits of various government programs to the grassroots level.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party believes in the holistic welfare of the people, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been dedicated to improving the socio-economic conditions of the underprivileged. Our state government is also operating under his guidance. It is imperative that party officials actively address the concerns of the people and demonstrate that they stand with the citizens. Panchayat representatives are integral in ensuring that the benefits of government initiatives reach every member of society,” Dr. Saha asserted.
With the approaching Lok Sabha election, the Chief Minister has intensified his efforts to strengthen the connection and foster a closer relationship between the BJP and the people. Dr. Saha particularly stressed the pivotal role of Panchayat Samiti members in connecting with citizens at the grassroots level and urged them to work with increased dedication.
In addition to Dr. Manik Saha, other notable figures present at the event included BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tinku Roy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, and several other party officials.
