Sanskriti Foundation organized a poignant Raksha Bandhan program, 'Rakhi for Soldiers', at the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan in Agartala, to honor CRPF soldiers.
Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Students from Tripureshwari Vidya Mandir, Kalyan Ashram, Bhawan's Tripura College, and Tripura University participated in the program, tying rakhis to the CRPF soldiers as a symbol of protection and affection.
Mahesh Shetty, Executive Member, Sanskriti Foundation, delivered the welcome speech, while Nilmoni Chakraborty, State Coordinator, Vidya Bharati Tripura, delivered a lecture on the significance of Raksha Bandhan.
Other distinguished guests present at the event included Prof. Milan Rani Jamatia, Dr. Poonam Mukherjee, Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, Vice Chancellor, Tripura University, Tithi Debbarma, and Debasish Chakraborty.
The program aimed to strengthen the bond between civilians and soldiers, acknowledging the selfless service of CRPF soldiers. The students' gesture of tying rakhis to the soldiers was a touching display of solidarity and respect.
They also tied Rakhi to the Governor on this occasion.
Sisters of Brahmakumaris, eminent artist Tithi Debbarma, TRPC Chairperson Patal Kanya Jamatia also tied Rakhi to Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu.
