The long-awaited KGM Surya Multi Superspecialist Hospital in Dharmanagar is set to transform healthcare services in the North Tripura District.
Located in Sakai Bari, the hospital is under construction with full support from the renowned Surya Hospital in Chennai, marking the beginning of a new phase in medical care for the residents of Dharmanagar and adjoining areas.
Dr. Arunadevi K., Consultant General Physician at Surya Hospital and Director of the Surya Specialty Center, recently visited Dharmanagar to inspect the ongoing construction and assess the hospital's infrastructure.
During her recent visit, a press conference was held in Dharmanagar where key stakeholders, including Abdul Rahim, the Chairman of the hospital, shared updates with the media.
She remarked, s significant milestone was reached with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KGM Surya Multi Superspecialist Hospital and Surya Hospital in Chennai.
This agreement ensures that the hospital in Dharmanagar will operate with advanced medical practices and state-of-the-art technology, in line with Surya Hospital's esteemed reputation.
It is learnt, the first phase of construction is expected to cost around Rs 50 crore and will feature cutting-edge medical equipment and diagnostic facilities. The hospital will also host a team of highly skilled doctors from Chennai and Kolkata, who will provide regular medical services to patients.
In addition to offering general healthcare, the hospital will provide specialized treatment for complex cases through a direct link with Surya Hospital in Chennai.
Hospital authorities emphasized this collaboration represents a groundbreaking initiative, bringing world-class healthcare to Dharmanagar. With this new facility, the region's residents will have access to top-tier medical services, ensuring improved healthcare standards and a brighter future for the community.
