Tripura CM hits campiagn trails in Kerala, slams UDF, LDF

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb made a clarion call to oust the CPIM-led alliance and vote for saffron party candidates in forthcoming Assembly Polls.

Taking part in poll campaigns in Kerala, Deb trained all his guns against UDF and LDF and said, the opposition between these two parties is an eyewash. Taking a potshot at an alliance between CPIM and Congress in Bengal, Deb said, time is ripe to think beyond these two alliances. He urged people to vote for BJP candidates and watch how Prime Minister Narendra Modi changes the State to make it better within five years.

Tripura-CM-Kerala-Poll“Bring BJP in power and witness the change under the able leadership of the Prime Minister in five years. Kerala has all the ingredients, however, it lacks proper direction”, Deb commented.

Recalling the emergence of BJP in Tripura, the Chief Minister said, there was no work culture when BJP ousted CPM and assumed power. However, within three years of its rule, BJP successfully restored work culture and attaining growth in every sector. Tripura is doing significantly well in implementing Government welfare schemes.. In this connection, Deb also said, Tripura has secured top position in implementing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural and Urban).

Deb also interacted with the media and dwelt on multiple issues. Replying to a question on the allegation of communalism against BJP by CPM and Congress, the Chief Minister termed the allegation as propaganda against BJP by the two parties.

“Notion of the country has changed. Recently, polls were held in Bihar where the main agenda was development and job creation, not the caste-religion. Prime Minister Modi works with the vision of ‘Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas’ mantra”, Deb said.

He cited example of Tripura and said, BJP has completed three years in power in Tripura, however, not a single person of minority community would allege any torture on them.

Once again referring to Tripura, Deb said, BJP started from zero but wrested power from CPM in Tripura and the same is possible in Kerala too.
