Tripura News: Woman Kills 8-year-old Son in West Joynagar Area
In a shocking incident, an 8-year-old boy was allegedly murdered by his mother in the West Joynagar area under the West Tripura District. The killing took place on Monday evening.
The accused, Suprabha Bal, reportedly confessed to the crime. While speaking with the local media, she said she was fed up with the erratic behaviour of her son, Rajdeep Bal. She claimed, Rajdeep could not be enrolled in any school as he was reluctant to study.
She also alleged he had been stealing money and causing problems at home for a while. The accused continued her complaints against her son and said, he became a major headache for her as he used to create troubles at home and even at her work place.
"It was too much for me. I was even thrashed by people because of my son. I couldn't bear his behavior anymore," Bal reportedly stated at the scene, a rented house in West Joynagar.
Bal, who hails from Kailashahar, had recently moved into the rented accommodation with her son.
Upon receiving information about the incident, local residents and police arrived at the house and found the woman sitting beside the deceased child's body.
