Eminent ISRO scientist, Padmashree awardee V Adhi Murti, who was a part of teams of Chandrayan 1 and 2 arrived at Agartala to attend the Science Fair.

Agartala, January 02, 2020: In what seems to be an inspiring development for the science enthusiasts, 12 ISRO scientists reached Agartala to take part in the 47th State-level Science, Mathematics and Environment Fair. This State-level Fair was inaugurated today at Maharani Tulasibati school by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb. He also inaugurated the ‘Space on Wheel’ – an initiative by ISRO exhibiting India’s space exploration Missions.
In the Fair, ‘Space on Wheels’ has generated curiosity and attracted science enthusiasts. The ‘Space on Wheels’ will provide ample knowledge about India’s space exploration as well as inspire students to think bigger, said one of the teachers of Tulshibati School.
Among the 12 ISRO scientists, two of them were from Tripura. Eminent ISRO scientist, Padmashree awardee V Adhi Murti, who was a part of the teams of Chandrayan 1 and 2 also arrived at Agartala to interact with the aspiring scientists of the state. In the fair, altogether 80 models had been exhibited after getting selected from the eight districts.
Inaugurating the fair, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb exhorted the young ignited minds to come forward and participate in nation building.
