June 04, 2018: In Meghalaya, curfew has been extended to other parts of Shillong as violence continued last night with a mob indulging in stone pelting on security forces for the last four days.

Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills, Peter. S. Dkhar said curfew will remain imposed from 4 pm to 5 am in Shillong. He said the state police and the district administration are trying to restore normalcy. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma told reporters that police investigation have revealed that certain people are funding the agitation. (AIR News)
