May 20, 2018: The Chief Minister Biplab Deb along with BJP-IPFT MLAs and leaders attended third edition of NEDA Conclave in Guwahati today. Addressing the Conclave, Biplab Deb hailed the proposal mooted by the Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma for constructiong roads using Plastic wastes. On BJP’s victory in State Assembly Polls, Biplab Deb remembered the roles of PM Modi, Amit Shah and all other BJP Karyakartas in freeing people from the LF rule and install BJP-IPFT Government in Tripura. He said, the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) comes with North East Dreams and Aspirations theme. Deb said, NEDA has played a crucial role in ensuring development through mutual co-ordination among the North Eastern states. “NEDA aims at enhancing co-ordinationa and co-operation between NE States. It has brought the small states of the NE Region together. NEDA is firmly focsuing on PM Modi’vision for this regin and help to realise his goals. Together the NE region is marching forward towards prosperity”, he said.
The Chief Minister highlighted activities of newly elected BJP Government in Tripura and said, the Government has introduced new recruitment policy. He said, “In accordance with the PM Modi’s vision, we have annulled Interview based recruitment in Government services in Group B, C and D category and introduced written tests for recruitment in all categories. He also mentioned aboyt State Government’s decision to reserve 10 per cent posts for women in Police. He also mentioned about several welfare measures of the Modi-led Government.
IPFT supremo and State Revenue Minister NC Debbarma also addressed the conclave.
