January 06, 2018: Waking up from slumber, State Pradesh Congress today hurled couple of questions at All India BJP president Amit Shah prior to his State visit on January 7. Addressing a press conference in Agartala today, PCC chief Birajit Sinha asked Amit Shah to clarify the manifold increase of his son’s assets in merely three years after Narendra Modi government came into power. The second question Sinha posted for Shah was relating to Assam Minister Dr Hemant Biswa Sharma.
Sinha said, “The CBI initiated investigation against Sarma following a direction of Gauhati High Court and his wife was picked up in connection with Sarada scam, but inexplicably the investigation was stopped suddenly. Irony is that Sarma is now talking against corruption and is deputed to oversee elections for BJP. Shah must provide appropriate reply on the issue”.
