New Governors for 6 states including Tripura, Nagaland, WB

Agartala, July 20, 2019: Ramesh Bais has been appointed as Governor of Tripura in place of incumbent Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki. Governors of five other states – Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh new appoints/changes have been made.

According to Wikipedia, Ramesh Bais was a member of 16th Lok Sabha and ex-Minister. He represented Raipur Constituency of Chhattisgarh. Rambai Bais is his wife. They have one son and two daughters.
