Tripura: CM launches Masoor Dal distribution through PDS

Agartala, February 07, 2019: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today ceremonially inaugurated the State-level programme for distribution of Masoor Dal through Public Distribution System (PDS).

In a programme organized by the State Food and Public Distribution department in Agartala today, Deb handed over Masoor Dal to beneficiaries marking State wide launching of distribution of the Dal through PDS. In ration shops, Masoor Dal will now be available at Rs 40 per kg which is almost half of the market price. People may buy Masoor dal from 1809 Ratin shops under PDS in the State.

Among others, State Food Minister Manoj Kanti Deb was also present.
