August 21, 2018: Amid donations pouring in for Kerala flood victims, students’ community of the State has come out of the College campus and contributed to the Kerala Relief activities. Students of Ramthakur College in Agartala today met the Chief Minister and contributed to Kerala Flood Relief activities. The gesture of the students displayed sense of humanity and fellow-feelings for distressed people.
The State Government of Tripura has already announced Rs 1 crore to rebuild flood ravaged Kerala. The High Court of Tripura has also announced its decision to donate for marooned people of Kerala. Led by CPIM, Leftists are also collecting donations for Kerala. The students of the State have also responded to emerging situation with responsibility and Ram Thakur College students contributed to the relief activities.
