Agartala, July 21, 2019: Former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury demanded immediate inauguration of the flyover in Agartala. He also appealed to the State Government to pay pending bills of contractors immediately.
Addressing a press conference today in Party headquarters, Choudhury said, “We almost completed the works of fly-over during the fag end of Left regime. Moreover, reports by the central agency suggested that there were no faults in the flyover”.
He referred to CSIR report in detail and said, this central agency submitted two reports relating to the flyover to the State Government. CSIR did not find any fault in the flyover construction.
Besides, he also urged the government to release pending payments of worth Rs 63 crore to contractors. (IANS)
