August 21, 2018: Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki was appointed as the Governor of Tripura today. Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy was given charge of Meghalaya while Meghalaya Governor Ganga Prasad had been transferred to Sikkim.

Former Bihar Minister Satyadev Narayan Arya has been made the Governor of Haryana. Baby Rani Maurya will take charge as the Governor of Uttarakhand. Ms. Maurya was formerly BJP’s Uttar Pradesh State secretary.
BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh Lalji Tandon will be the new Governor of Bihar. Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik was appointed as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
