August 24, 2018: The Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) observed its 10th Foundation Day in Agartala today. The Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman attended the celebration along with local MLA Ram Prasad Pal and other dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stressed on expansion of facilities in TIPS maintaining quality and hard works by students and teaching faculty for success.
Quoting Sanskrit sloka, he charted out path for students and said, students must try to succeed with diligence and persistence, talk less but stay silent like practicing meditation. Eat and sleep less as well as stay away from comforts of sweet home. Inspiring students to work hard and reach at the top of success graph, Roy Barman said, students must grasp the knowledge and be prepared in such a manner that they get good placement offers after passing out.
Turning his attention to available facilities in TIPS, Roy Barman expressed hope that in next the Institution will have more buildings with new facilities. Reiterating his Govt’s commitment to improve the quality of teachings and services, the Minister urged the authority to pay more attention to quality improvement.
Making an emphatic call, he urged the students and other stake holders of TIPS to donate blood voluntarily at least thrice in a year.
