Agartala, Jun 08: Results of Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim exams conducted by Tripura Board of Secondary Education were announced today. This year Pass percentage stands at 64.60 percent while it was 59.59 per cent in last year. Pass percentage also improved in schools in TTAADC areas. Both the ST and SC category students performed better than previous year. In a press meet, TBSE president Bhabatosh Saha said this today in Agartala.
Among the successful students, Tathagata Datta of Udaipur English Medium HS School topped the table with 481 marks. As many as 19 students found places in top 10 merit list. (see Complete merit list below)
This year, total 44,747 students appeared in Madhyamik exams out which 20911 were boys and 23836 were girl students. Total 10 blind students and 22 physically challenged students appeared in this year’s Madhyamik Exams – out of this, 9 blind students and 17 physically challenged students cleared the Exams.
Out of total 1043 schools, 53 schools earned honour of 100 per cent pass rate – the number is up from 48 schools in previous year. However, number of schools with cent percent failure increased to 34 from 31 compared to last year’s examinations.
