Agartala, July 21, 2019: Police seized Yaba Tablets of worth Rs 35 lakh today from Dharmanagar area in North Tripura and arrested three persons. Local sources said, Police led by SP Bhanupada Chakraborty and jawans of Assam Rifles seized Yaba tablet worth of Rs.35 lakh today.
Acting on secret information, Police and AR Jawans led by the SP, SDPO of Panisagar Abhijit Das and Major of Assam Rifles Bikranta raided the house of Anoara Begam near Jwala Bazar at ward no -1 in Ramnagar under Dharmanagar subdivision.
The Police team caught Nazrul Islam (45), Altar Hussen Choudhury (45) and Malay Das (35) red handed with 8000 Yaba tablets and some other items. Police arrested them and seized the items. SP said, worth of the tablets is Rs. 35 lakh in black market.
