August 22, 2018: The State BJP general secretary Pratima Bhowmik today received the urn of ashes of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Delhi. She received the urn from the BJP National general secretary Ramlal today.
She said, the Asthi will be immersed in three locations in Tripura. She received the urn – the Asthi Kalash of the departed leader in presence of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP All India president Amit Shah and other leaders.
Pratima Bhowmik will arrive at Agartala tomorrow. The Chief Minister Biplab Deb will receive the urn of ashes – Asthi Kalash from Bhowmik in presence of State BJP leaders at Agartala airport. Later a rally and padayatra will take the Asthi Kalash to BJP Party Office, BJP sources said.
