April 21, 2018: The State Executive body meeting of BJP will be held April 22 at Sahid Bhagat Singh Yuva Awaas. Party’s national general secretary Ram Madhav, BJP State prabhari Sunil Deodhar and Chief Minister Biplab Deb will attend the meeting. Also, party’s organization minister for northeast region Ajay Jamwal and Prabhari of Assam Fanindranath Sharma are also scheduled to attend the meeting tomorrow, Victor Shome told the media.
Prior to the Executive body’s meeting, Ram Madhav is expected to hold separate meetings with the Core Committee and State Committee members.
According to Party sources, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hold talks with BJP MLAs through video conference.
Informed sources said, the Executive meeting assumes a lot of importance. BJP’s organization in Hill areas are much weaker compared to IPFT and IPFT is aggressively expanding its base. Further, BJP is burdened with huge rush for joining from several parties into the Party fold in towns and other areas.
In the wake of such a situation, Executive meeting is most likely will focus on strengthening and expanding organizational base of the Party, reliable sources said and added, the party leaders will prepare a strategy to deal a section of new comers who are involved in various unlawful activities.
