Tripura Government will recruit 235 personnel for the Fire and Emergency Services department. Besides, 22 Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) will be recruited under the Social Welfare and Social Education Department, said ICA Minister Sushanta Choudhury on Tuesday.
He said, the council of ministers on Tuesday cleared recruitment in 235 posts under the Fire and Emergency Services department.
The 235 posts included five station officers, 15 sub officers, 25 leading firemen, 25 drivers, 160 firemen and five LD clerks, said ICA minister and cabinet spokesman Sushanta Chowdhury.
Apart from this, the state cabinet also approved recruitment in 22 posts of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) under the Social Education and Social Education department.
The 22 posts were recreated in the cabinet meeting, he said, adding that the recruitment for the 22 posts would soon be done through the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
Chowdhury also announced that 18 posts of Senior Draftsmen (technical, Group-B, non-gazetted) under the PWD were created by the cabinet on Tuesday.
