April 12, 2018: Tripura Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman today came up with a touchy slogan – Chalo Phire Jai – to people of Tripura residing outside the State. Speaking at a programme organized by the School of Science in Muktadhara today, Roy Barman called upon non-resident Tripurites either to come and settle back in Tripura or invest in the State – as most of these non-resident Tripurities are well placed in respective professional careers.
Detailing his vision, Roy Barman said, the state government was taking all out step for improvement of the IT sector and State is working on setting BPOs and KPOs in the State. The Health Minister also mooted the idea of Coaching centre at PPP model for medical students aspiring for the PG entrance. Among others, State Social Welfare Minister Swantana Chakma and Executive editor of Tripura Times Manas Paul were also present in the programme.
