Different welfare schemes of central and state governments are being implemented across Tripura. The government has launched Prati Ghare Sushason campaign so that people of all sections of society reap the benefits of these welfare schemes.
The campaign shall continue till December 25, said Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha after inaugurating the newly built two-storied building of Bharatchandranagar RD Block, newly built block godown and block-level special Sushason Mela in Belonia Under South Tripura on Saturday.
He said, the government is implementing all the developmental works with transparency. Tripura ranks fifth from the bottom among 28 states according to the National Bureau of Crime Report. With regard to the development of the Health sector, he spoke about Ayushman Bharat.
The Chief Minister said, the present government wants nothing but the welfare of the people. He handed over the lease papers of Amrit Sarovar, loan cheques, keys of the market stall, mini rice machine, sewing machines etc., to the beneficiaries in the programme.
Other dignitaries present during the programme were MLA Arun Chandra Bhoumik, MLA Sankar Roy, DM & Collector Saju Wahid A. and District Superintendent of Police Dr. Kulwant Singh.
The programme was presided over by the Chairperson of Bharatchandranagar Panchayat Samiti Putul Pal Biswas. The welcome speech was delivered by Block BDO Kaberi Nath. It is to be noted that the block building situated at Manurmukh of Belonia and godown has been built at the total cost of Rs 2 crore 25 lakh 83 thousand 697.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly built District Panchayat Resource Centre situated at Vivekananda Colony of North Sarasima in Belonia. The District Panchayat Resource Centre has been built at the cost of Rs 2 crore 73 lakh 98 thousand 384. MLA Arun Chandra Bhoumik was present during the inaugural programme.
Later, Dr Saha inaugurated the newly built two-storied building of Arya Colony Higher Secondary School and its auditorium. There he interacted with the students and urged them to become people of values and discipline and to also focus on extra-curricular activities apart from academic studies for all-around performance.
He also asked the teachers to stay updated with new knowledge and facts. MLA Arun Chandra Bhoumik, DM & Collector Saju Wahid A., District Superintendent of Police Dr. Kulwant Singh, District Education official Subir Majumder and Chairman of School Management Committee Sailen Pal were present there. The welcome speech was delivered by the Assistant Head Master of the school Ashish Choudhury. It is to be noted that the newly built school building and the auditorium have been built at the cost of Rs 3 crore 63 lakh.
