January 06, 2018: Expressing concern about BJP-IPFT tie up, CPI-M said the communal force is backing divisive force leaving a space for anxiety ahead of polls. “NLFT’s new leadership from Bangladesh has extended support to IPFT in a recent past. It appears that the divisive forces are getting united virtually posing a threat to security,” said Bijan Dhar.
Strongly condemning the steps of the union government and BJP for their support the divisive force, Dhar said it’s a mere game plan to oust the Left Front government in Tripura.
Referring to MHRD’s assurance to secure the future of 10,323 teachers, Bijan stated, “The move is nothing but a political gimmick ahead of polls.”
He, however, assured that the CPI-M would extend its support if the Union government brings an ordinance in the current session of the Parliament bypassing Supreme Court’s order.
CPI-M central committee member Goutam Das also attended the press conference.
He demanded immediate arrest of two ‘charge-sheeted accused’ of Santanu Bhowmik murder case- Ramendra Debbarma and Pashurai Debbarma who recently joined the saffron camp in presence of party’s state observer Sunil Deodhar.
