Agartala, September 11, 2019: In an attempt to scale up ante against ruling BJP, Unakoti District Congress of Tripura has called a 24-hour strike on September 12 in Kailashahar sub-division under the district. Former president of Tripura State Congress Birajit Sinha along with former CLP leader Gopal Roy announced this today in Kailashahar.
The strike has been called in support of 7-point demand including demand for stern action against the miscreants who vandalized Kailashahar Congress Party Office recently.
Leaders also said, a rally was held in which people participated spontaneously. Several local and State level leaders slammed the ruling Party and urged people to make the strike successful.
