March 29, 2018: Media in Tripura is once again fall victim to hooliganism. After murder of two scribes last year, an electronic media house was vandalized. Sources said, a group of miscreants ransacked Duranta TV Channel Office and damaged many valuable items. The incidence took place in Udaipur under Gomati District, Tripura last night.
Meanwhile Editor of Duranta TV Channel Aiyub Sarkar has filed a case at R.K. Pur Police Station today. On the basis of complaint, police started investigation to identify the motive behind the attack. Police is trying to figure out whether any news or any political reason prompted miscreantsto attack the Media house. Meanwhile different agencies of Media have expressed resentment and condemned the incident of attack.
