Similar situations are prevailing in Amarpur and Korbook subdivisions.

With demand for assistance soaring high at a galloping rate, administration is struggling relentlessly to carry out rescue and relief works.

In the North District, Juri and Kakri rivers continue to flood vast areas in the district. With the assistance of the local administration, affected people and their livestocks have been shifted to safer places in relief camps.
