February 07, 2018: Former Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gagoi today fired all guns against his former colleague Dr Hemant Biswa Sharma as well as BJP Government. Focusing on issues of Tripura, Dr Sharma said, Congress does not support of demand for separate State.
Speaking to media today in Agartala, Gagoi alleged, Dr Sharma who is now a very powerful BJP Minister of Assam and looking into political affairs of North East, was ‘involved’ in Louis Berger bribery scandal, Sarada and Rose Valley chit fund scams. Hemanta’s houses were ‘raided by CBI’ and now Gauhati High Court again asked CBI to probe the Louis Berger bribery scandal, Gagoi commented and launched attack on Modi-led Government and said, Modi Government had completely failed to fulfill its pre-poll promises made in run up to previous LS Polls.
Continuing his tirade, Tarun Gagoi lashed out against BJP-IPFT alliance and said, the BJP, before the Assam assembly elections in 2016, had promised separate state of Bodoland and separate Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao state, but the party did nothing.
