In a reshuffle of the police department, the Government of Tripura transferred several IPS and TPS officers on Monday. As per the notification, DIGP(HQrs) Avula Ramesh Reddy has been transferred and posted as IGP (Crime).
ADGP (Training) M Raja Murugan has been given additional charge of IG (Admin). Ipper Manchak, the DIGP (SR & NR), has been transferred and posted as in-charge IGP (L/O) with additional charge of DIGP Southern Range.
Krishnendu Chakravertty, DIGP (Crime, Intl., & Security), has been allocated additional charge of SP(SB). He has been relieved from the charge of SP Vigilance.
Prabir Majumder, DIGP (now posted as AIGP, Welfare) has been transferred and posted as DIGP Headquarters.
Rati Ranjan Debnath, DIGP (now posted as SP, Anti-Narcotics), has been made DIGP (Northern Range).
SP (Procurement) Bijoy Debbarma has been transferred and posted as SP Sepahijala.
SP Traffic Manik Das has been posted as SP (Procurement). Addl. SP (Traffic) Sudambika R. has now been made SP Traffic.
SP (PHQ) Bhanupada Chakraborty has been transferred and posted as Commandant, TSR 1st Bn.
AIGP (HQrs.) Jayanta Chakraborty has been transferred and posted as Principal, KTDS PTA. He has been replaced by SP Sepahijala B.J. Reddy. Principal KTDS PTA Nabadwip Jamatia has been transferred and posted as SP (Cyber Crime).
Addl. SP (South) M. Chandrashekhar has been posted as SP South. The incumbent SP South Ashok Kumar Sinha has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 12th-Bn TSR. Ranaditya Das, Commandant of 12th-Bn TSR, has been transferred and posted as SP Khowai.
Addl. SP (Vigilance) Bikas Deb has been made SP Vigilance. Piyamadhuri Majumder, Addl. SP (TPCB), has been transferred and posted as SP Anti-Narcotics.
Deputy Commandant of 13th-Bn TSR Ranadhir Debbarma has been transferred and posted as SP (Police Control). Badal Debbarma, Dy. SP of 5th-Bn TSR, has been transferred and posted as SP Communication.
Addl. SP (PHQ) Uttam Banik has been transferred and posted as Addl. SP (Khowai).
Two IPS Probationers- D. Kudiarasu and Rishabh have been posted as SDPO Khowai and SDPO Belonia respectively.
The notification included several other police officers.
