The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Agartala is organizing a five-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from February 1 to 5 on ‘Data Science with Machine Learning and Python’.
This is conducting under the aegis of AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Programme. The purpose of the workshop is to provide innovative ideas and new information regarding Data Visualization and Summarization systems, Machine Learning Models in Data Science using Python.
In this context, Data Science using Python, Deep Learning Algorithms and Social Network Miningetec will also be discussed in this programme.
Prof. Manu K Vora, Chairman and President, Business Excellence, Inc., USA was the Chief Guest of this programme. Prof. Amit Panikulam, Business Analyst and Data Enthusiast, IT Services, Phoenix, USA was the Guest of Honour. Prof. H. K. Sharma, Director, NIT Agartala was the Chief Patron and delivered the key note address on the inaugural session on February 1.
As many as 13 eminent speakers from reputed Institutions like IITs, NITs and Universities will be delivering lecture on various topics of Data Science during the programme. The speakers highlighted the importance of Data Science with Machine Learning and Python with various career opportunities.
Faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions, research scholars, industry bureaucrats and technicians are participating in this FDP. In total there are 200 participants in this programme.
Dr. Mrinal Kanti Debbarma, Associate Professor and the Head, Computer Science and Engineering Department, NIT Agartala is the Coordinator of the FDP. The interaction with the international experts is benefiting many faculty members and researchers. Prof. H. K.
